What is SelfRefind?

SelfRefind is a network of clinics that offer help to people struggling with addiction to alcohol and pain medication through individualized treatment plans in combination with addiction medication, Suboxone or Vivitrol.

What is Suboxone?

Suboxone is the first opioid medication approved for the treatment of opioid dependence in an office-based setting. Suboxone also can be prescribed for take-home use, just as any other medicine for other medical conditions. The primary active ingredient in Suboxone is buprenorphine. Because buprenorphine is a partial opioid agonist, its opioid effects are limited compared with those produced by full opioid agonists, such as oxycodone or heroin. Suboxone also contains naloxone, an opioid antagonist. The naloxone in Suboxone is there to discourage people from dissolving the tablet and abusing it. When Suboxone is placed under the tongue, as directed, very little naloxone reaches the bloodstream, so what the patient feels are the effects of the buprenorphine. However, if naloxone is injected or snorted, it can cause a person dependent on a full opioid agonist to quickly go into excruciating withdrawal. Suboxone at the appropriate dose is used to reduce illicit opioid use, eliminate cravings for opioids and help patients stay in treatment by suppressing symptoms of opioid withdrawal.

What is Vivitrol?

Vivitrol is a prescription injectable medicine used to treat alcohol dependence (alcoholism). It also helps prevent relapse to opioid dependence, after opioid detox.

How do I pay for my treatment?

As you will discover, SelfRefind is not only effective; it is affordable. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, money orders and certified checks. While we do not collect from insurance companies, we will assist you with the necessary paperwork to file an insurance claim to cover the cost of your treatment, should your health insurance policy cover our services. Bring a copy of your insurance policy with you when you visit our office and we will help you to determine if your policy will provide reimbursement. We also ask you bring your insurance card.

Keeping copies of both insurance items in your file helps us in potential discussions with your insurance company in the future. We always recommend you call the Customer Service number for your plan so that you may make informed decisions regarding your care. We commit to helping you deal with your insurance company any way we can be of assistance.

Your initial physical evaluations, intake planning and first physician visit are all included in your monthly fee. Our costs are in the lowest 15% when compared to other Suboxone providers and our care is unsurpassed.
